Experience this "ole" west one of a kind cabin and go back in time to the early 1900s. Take a soaking bath in the cowboy brothel type tub. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Spectrum cable tv in the living room for your entertainment. Totally stocked kitchen with all the things needed to cook with. There is a Keurig coffee station.

A short drive from the farm will take you to Abita Springs, a quaint town with restaurants and the Abita Brewery, Old Covington filled with local shops and restaurants and several horse facilities nearby. Spend the day touring in New Orleans and unwind in the evenings relaxing on one of two porches overlooking horses grazing in the pasture.

Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light. Spend the day in town shopping or enjoying a festival. Return home to relax with a meal on the grill or a glass of wine with friends around the firepit.
