Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

The Herdwick Hut

Breathtaking views.Inside you will find the Herdwick Hut has beautiful finishing's and incorporates a double bed a hob, sink, fridge and en-suite bathroom. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene beautiful space. Yarlington Dairy is located at Ty Gwyn Cider, nestled between the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains. Renovated to a high spec, with a slipper bath in the bedroom. You will find everything you need for a relaxing, self catering break. Views out towards the Monnow Valley, Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains. Plenty of things to do, see and visit in the area. Dog friendly (two pooches) and has a wood fired hot tub to star gaze.

Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

The Olchon Bothy - quaint and cosy

This simple and charming detached Bothy sits on the Wales/Herefordshire borders on the edge of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park, it is perfect for couples or individuals, but sorry no dogs. The area is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, bird/nature watching or simply relaxing. The village of Longtown is nearby (2 miles) with its very own 12th century castle, a traditional local pub/restaurant and an excellent shop selling local produce .

Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the hut is secluded with open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. Relax in the private outside area, with charcoal barbeque, hammock and fire pit, and explore local walks, pubs, market towns and historical sites. Dogs are welcome.
