Looking for a "respite from reality"? Close enough to great restaurants and night life, but far enough away to enjoy relaxation at its finest! The beach is between 25 to 30 miles away and there are numerous beaches within that radius, including Hilton Head and Hunting Island. Of course, the cottage is right in front of a beautiful and peaceful coastal marsh. We’re also not far from Parris Island if it’s time to celebrate your special Marine! See gorgeous sunrises & watch the dolphins from the upstairs deck or sun porch. Great views of the water from most of the house. New lighted dock on deep water so bring your boat! Enjoy swimming (ladder provided), kayaking or paddle boarding. Great area for fishing and crabbing. Well-equipped kitchen, fireplace, gas grill, screened-in porch, game table & more!

The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

Freeman Farm “Love Shack” Bunkhouse for 5 or 1.

The "Love Shack" is in Statesboro, Georgia, home of the Georgia Southern Eagles and is the guests Bunkhouse on Freeman Farm. Freeman Farm is a 300-acre weekend retreat located between a half mile stretch of the Ogeechee River and Pondgeechee Pond, a 32-acre lake. The newly renovated "Love Shack" while rustic still has the comforts of home; with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of places to sit and relax, lots of outdoor space to roam, soft beds, and we even have wifi.

There is a a micro, fridge & coffee mkr in ur suite. Cook your meal in our shared kitchen. All linens are sanitized w/ high temp sanitizing wash. You have your own private entrance so come and go as you please! Airbnb designated parking. I live on the 2nd floor should u need assistance !
