We also own the downtown cafe, Broad Porch Coffee, so are local and can help if you ever need anything. We are family friendly and love dogs, no pet fee. Charming log cabin nestled in a glen by the Shenandoah National Park is an ideal retreat for a romantic get-a-way. The first floor contains a beautiful kitchen, dining area, full bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, and cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The second level holds the bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a half bathroom. There are two porches where guests can relax with their morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the wooded and mountain views.

Our cabin, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains is uniquely positioned overlooking a large open field where hawks hunt and bears leisurely stroll. Our neighbors have horses that peer over the fence (nosy) pet them but don’t feed them, please. Our cabin was built in 1865 by a Confederate soldier returning from the Civil War. Eleven children were born and raised in John Pope Cabin. Our cabin is rustic. An inviting front porch with swing is waiting for you @walnuthillcabin
