Mahina Cabin - 1 Bedroom

Mahina Cabin was used by the owner to live in prior to building our residence on this 5500sqm site. It is 10m from our Mahina Cottage and 15m behind our house. It is cosy, private, has plenty of parking and has all that is needed for a quiet getaway while enjoying our little piece of paradise here in Twizel, the heart of the Mackenzie Country. The grounds have been landscaped with mainly native plantings to enhance the privacy and views. The owners live on site and operate a native nursery.

Twizel retreats - GH Cottage

This newly built cottage is located in a peaceful and remote location. Guests will have sole occupancy of the cottage. It has a great mountain view with a beautiful dark night sky reserve. It's only a 45min drive to Mt Cook National Park and a 10min drive to Lake Pukaki. It is air-conditioned and provides all the necessary amenities and essentials to make your stay feel like home. Comes with two bedrooms; one with a large and comfy King bed, and the other with two King Single beds.

Bedeshurst bnb - An ideal stop 10km from Fairlie

Bedeshurst bnb is a cosy, private studio unit which is situated on our farm in South Canterbury. We are in the countryside, an 8-10 minute drive from the small town of Fairlie on a gravel/shingle no-exit road. We live in a beautiful, quiet part of the country and the unit has amazing views across our farm and to the mountains beyond. Our farm has great walking and biking tracks, so if this interests you then please just ask.

Burkes Pass Farm Cottage,

Beautiful modern 2 bedroom cottage located in established country garden, 25 mins from Fairlie and Lake Tekapo. Located on a working sheep and beef farm 4 km off State highway 8. ( 4km of metal/shingle road ). Self catering essential as shops and restaurants are in the nearby towns. (25km away). We have free wifi available. Come join us for a few nights, 'unplugged' . A peaceful quiet escape or rest stop while travelling.

We are located a 2 minute drive from Lake Opuha, popular for water sports and fishing, a little over 30 minutes to the summit of Mt Dobson ski field, Fox Peak ski field, and about an hour from Round Hill ski field. Fairlie is a short 10 minute drive away, and Lake Tekapo is 30 minutes away. A great spot to get away from it all! Fully self contained and away from our house, you will have complete privacy throughout your stay.
