Overlooking our orchard with sweeping views of native bush, this retreat combines the luxury of a spa, sauna, and ice bath with the comfort of a modern, freshly built space. Everything here is new—from the deck and outdoor area to the thoughtfully designed interiors—offering a serene escape that feels both private and connected to nature. Valley Cottage.

Fully renovated, light, self contained cottage with stunning views of our special valley & Farm. Ideally suited for a couple, but we have a comfy sofa bed ( double), so 2 extras may be accommodated. Just 45 mins drive from Auckland CBD, 8 km from closest small town. An easy stop to or from the airport. Ideal for those looking for a quiet get-away, also with everything required for a longer stay; or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. There is a full kitchenette, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

The 'Shed' our slice of serenity.

Ian and I welcome you to a taste of country life and country noise, an hours drive from Auckland City. The Shed offers peaceful rural and water views plus the occasional visit from wild deer and peacock. Nesting swallows on the porch in case you have a fear of birds! It is a restful stop on your travels, or an escape from the hustle bustle of life. Stand alone with a garage between it and the main house. Happy to put together a yummy platter and wine, message separately for prices ☺️

Riverside BnB with Spa Pool

Light and modern self-contained studio, own bathroom, kitchenette and living area. Off street parking and own private entrance. Kitchenette has air fryer, toaster, microwave. Walk down end of drive to view Kaipara River. 2 Minute drive to Parakai Mineral Pools and Helensville village, or 10 minute walk to Helensville river walkway to local cafe's or supermarket. Short drive to Muriwai Beach and South Head walking tracks and lakes. Trolley bed for extra adult available, $20 night.

This tranquil retreat 7 mins from the historic village of Puhoi and 8 mins from SH1 has all you need for a relaxing, private & comfortable getaway. Easy driving distance to beaches, bush walks, kayaking & the famous Puhoi pub. Or simply relax, enjoy the birdsong, views, sunsets, a coffee or wine on the deck, star-gazing. Well set up for self-catering with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave. Cosy wood fire in winter. Hosts live nearby and are very happy to provide any help.

Bring your walking shoes or bikes, we are within walking distance to the Riverhead forest.

Unique studio unit. Separate to main dwelling with own access and self contained. A lovely light and airy space originally designed as an artists studio. Space includes queen bed, two comfortable chairs, small fridge with tea and coffee bench, and shower and toilet. Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

Omakana Cottage with Farm Views & Cedar Hot Tub

Cozy and private cottage with sweeping farm views and a wood-burning cedar outdoor spa - perfect for relaxing under the stars. Enjoy open-plan living, a comfy sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, a king size bed and panoramic windows. Wake up to sunrise views, stroll the property, or visit nearby beaches and the Matakana Farmers' Market. Ideal for a romantic getaway or peaceful escape. Just a short drive away is the charming village of Matakana & beautiful Omaha Beach.

Upstairs house/apartment = Beach Front Escape

Upstairs apartment is a large, 2-bedroom house, with spacious living room, tv room, private bathroom and full kitchen. The apartment has its own entrance and private back deck. Right on the beach, a large, light and airy living space (160sqm upstairs house). Backed by native bush with expansive views of the beach and sea/sunrises to the front. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.

Only a quick walk to the beach and Manly village there is plenty to keep you occupied and a great choice of places to eat and drink. The bay is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, stand up paddling, windsurfing, sailing or just relaxing. Manly Sailing Club is across the road and hosts many regattas. The open plan studio is new and beautifully finished, located above the owners garage with a separate entrance.

Orewa by the Beach - Coastal living

Centrally located at the heart of the famous Orewa beach in the Hibiscus Coast of North Auckland region, 200m distance from the surf beach and 350m from the entrance of the 8km estuary walk/cycle way. The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. We only offer a quiet , comfortable room to stay in - Parties, visitors and binge drinking are not allowed.
