Casugria was built in 1810 by a Dutch Gentry who was also once the acting Dutch Governor of Malacca during the Dutch rule of Malacca. Casugria is the last surviving Dutch Villa found in the whole of Malacca. Casugria has been painstakingly restored, refurbished and preserved for all to savour and enjoy. A stay in Casugria is like taking a step back in time but amidst all modern creature comforts right in the heart of Malacca City. We are in a safe neighbourhood and the main police station is about 200 metres away. Lots of famous affordable restaurants and street stalls are around the area serving Chinese, Indian and Malay Cuisine. An open market place is also nearby.
