Mosswood Cabin - on the Manitoba Escarpment

Mosswood Cabin is a cozy (hygge, gezellig) 700 sq ft year-round cabin located on the Manitoba Escarpment. 8000 years ago, it was lakefront property on Glacial Lake Agassiz, now it’s 40 acres of gorgeous parkland forest, with a seasonal creek winding its way through a deep ravine, access to many kilometres of multi-use trails, and part of a regular raptor, songbird, and monarch migratory route. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, a bathroom, a wood stove, and an outbuilding electric sauna.

Nestled in the small lake community of Albert Beach. Only a 5 min walk to sink your toes in the beautiful sand. Great swimming beach for kids. The water is shallow. If you like to bike, there are trails to Victoria Beach. Take a ride to the pier and the bakery. Or hike Elk Island. Sit around the camp fire, soak in the hot tub, play some games, and kick back and relax. In the winter, enjoy the Snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing and ice fishing. PETE’S PLACE

Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (6-8 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2026) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

Dog-Friendly Modern Cabin Near Beach

Have fun with the whole family at our modern cottage near the beach. Walking distance to the beach, our dog friendly space boasts comforts for everyone. This modern cottage was designed for a large family or for two families to share. 3 bedroom, 2 bath including a bunk room for the kids and a mudroom with built in kennels and a dog bath. The backyard has a large ground level deck with two BBQs, seating and dining spaces as well as a fire pit area with plenty of seating.
