Dark Horse provides stylish self-contained villa accommodation near forest and beaches on the stunning Barrington Coast, NSW. Set on our 10 acre farm on the site of an old dairy, we've built a unique one bedroom retreat including some of the original timbers to create an airy open plan space opening onto views of the small valley and paddocks, picking up the sea breezes. We're located just 8kms north of Nabiac on the Mid North Coast, just off the Pacific Highway. Forster is a 10 min drive.

Your only a short 5 min walk to Nabiac Village shops, including cafe and a pub, both with great food. Local swimming pool (closed in the winter months) kids skate park and playground. Bowarra is an 85 hectare biodynamic beef farm 12 minutes from Wingham and 30 mins from Taree, Saltwater and Old Bar beach. Bounded by the Manning river and Burrell Creek guests have access to plenty of freshwater activities. The house offers a peaceful and secluded stay complete with inside fire and outdoor fire pit. You are welcome to interact with us and our cows, pigs, goats, ducks and chickens. Pets permitted by request.

When you stay here, you will be just 30 minutes west from some of the most breathtaking beaches this area has to offer. Additionally, we are one of the few Airbnbs in the area that do not charge cleaning fees and allow pets, making your stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
