Our cabin sits above Lake Eildon. Mornings are still, often wrapped in mist, before light rolls across the water. Inside, soft bedding and a warm shower slow everything down. Outside, the plunge pool wakes you, then the sun beds take over. Mount Buller is 50 minutes away. Ski the day, return to quiet, warmth and your own space. Relax by the Goulburn at Doctors Creek Retreat

Relax with family and friends at Doctor's Creek Retreat on the banks of the beautiful Goulburn River. Enough room for a large gathering, featuring 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 9 people. In the warmer weather, swim or float down the river via two river access points or enjoy a drink, BBQ and relax in the hammock on the spacious deck overlooking the river. Pete's Alpine Studio 3

Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

The Cedar House

The Cedar House is located in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of Lake Eildon, approximately 150 kilometres from Melbourne, Victoria. Set on 1.3 hectares, the property has been landscaped with several varieties of Australian indigenous gum and Casurina trees, native shrubs and tree ferns, two dams and two seasonal creeks with an abundance of bird and wildlife.

Just 50 minutes to the gates of Mt Buller and 15 minutes to the nearest boat ramp at Lake Eildon, you can choose to do a multitude of activities in the area or just relax by the river in summer or by the cosy fire in winter.
