We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Besides enjoying your time at this getaway, venture out to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park and hike the Zapata Waterfall, which are both less than a 10 minute drive from the Modern Cabin. Don't forget to relax in the hot tub after hiking or cozy up by the fireplace. After dark, gaze upward on a clear night for an incredible stargazing opportunity.

Beautiful unique house with a taste of wilderness

This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

Robins Roost is modern real log cabin living, quiet, cozy and quaint. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people, 2 fold out hideabeds and 2 single futons adding up to beds for 12. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), hot springs in Salida and Mt Princeton and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest.

Windy Ridge Cabin is very peaceful

Windy Ridge Cabin is located in Canon City Colorado. Our non smoking cabin rustic appeal offers a mini fridge, composting toilet, convenient kitchen with basic amenitie. We don’t have shower. Upon request we also offer mindfulness meditation . Perfect for a single guest. We offer free parking. Our neighborhood is very peaceful. We allow one guest only. We allow one pet only not more than 35 lbs(cat not allowed)

Bring your boots! Come enjoy a peaceful cabin on a working ranch surrounded by scenic mountain views, wildlife, birds, horses, and cattle. Enjoy stargazing and s'mores at the Horno (a Native American Firepit) at night, and mountain sunrises on the deck in the morning. We are 10 minutes from downtown Alamosa and 30 minutes to the Great Sand Dunes National Park.
