Bowarra Farmstay on the Manning River

Bowarra is an 85 hectare biodynamic beef farm 12 minutes from Wingham and 30 mins from Taree and Old Bar beach. Bounded by the Manning river and Burrell Creek guests may kayak, fish, swim, walk, picnic and relax. The house offers a peaceful and secluded stay complete with inside fire and outdoor fire pit. You are welcome to interact with us and our cows, pigs, goats, ducks and chickens. Dogs permitted by request. We provide ingredients for hot and cold breakfast along with pantry basics.

Baevue Cottage was once an oyster purging shed, but has since been transformed into a perfect couples’ getaway, nestled on the waterfront of Pelican Bay in the Manning River. Just minutes from Manning Point Beach, it offers the ideal spot to start your day with a sunrise walk. Lenoroc is a 101 acre (40 Ha) farm 15 minutes drive west of Wingham at Charity Creek on the road to Mount George. Your accommodation is in separate cottage, with Queen Bed in Bedroom 1, Two King Singles in Bedroom 2. Enjoy the swimming pool and gardens and see the Cattle grazing over the fence. Our guests can walk or 4WD (yours) over the farm, or simply relax on the wrap-around deck watching the Alpacas, and weird Guinea Fowl .

When you stay here, you will be just 30 minutes west from some of the most breathtaking beaches this area has to offer. Additionally, we are one of the few Airbnbs in the area that do not charge cleaning fees and allow pets, making your stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
