The bush lodge is located on Hans Merensky an estate bordering the Krueger National Park. The lodge is nested privately under indigenous trees with a view into the Kruger National Park. Antelopes grazing on the lawn areas around the house add to the peaceful atmosphere. It is the ideal place for spending time in the bush with the option to go on day visits into the Kruger National via the nearby Phalaborwa Gate. You can also play golf in the wild on the estates course or pay a visit to the spa.

Stone House - Joy River Backpackers

The Stone House is self-catering and contains, in the main bedroom, one double and one 3/4 bed with an en-suite bathroom, flush toilet, bath and shower. The lounge, with a fireplace, contains a single bed and couch. Bedding is provided and mosquito nets. Joy River Backpackers is situated at the very beginning of the Blyde River Canyon. A genuine African village experience, rustic & laid-back atmosphere prevails and the buildings blend serenely into that of the village. The water is potable.
