Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". The Snug.

Situated in Middlemuir Heights Holiday park ten minutes from Ayr. It's a tranquil and mostly residential park in the lovely Ayrshire Countryside. There are woodland walks nearby and it is a short drive to the coast. This accommodation is more suited for couples or families wanting a quiet break. The cozy static caravan has a small deck to the side with seating. There is 5G Wifi and a tv in the sitting room. There is a bar and restaurant in the village a ten minute walk away.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds.
