The Art Garden guest cabin is a small, quiet sanctuary nestled in a beautiful part of Burton, on Vashon—an intimate and tranquil place to enjoy the serenity of the woods. Perfect romantic getaway. There is a fabulous view of Quartermaster Harbor from the cottage. Enjoy the comfort of a high-end Queen-sized bed and fine linens. Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

This jewel of an island is located a quick 20 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle but is a paradise getaway from the bustle of life. The house, comfortable but elegant, has a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Puget Sound and a private deck where you can sit back and watch the sun rise or set. Please Note: Because of Covid-19, we stipulate one day between the departure of a guest and the arrival of the next guest to allow our housecleaner adequate time to safely clean the house.

The southern exposure beach ( 1000ft of private beach) is the ideal for strolling, beach combing, and relaxing. A fire pit, propane bbq, hammocks, and lounge chairs awaits for outdoor r & r. Trails through the forest for hiking. Mountain bike trails at Dockton Pk..Your pet is welcome, leashed, with an additional pet fee.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Wishing Rock Farm (Ferry and Walk to World Cup)!

From Vashon Island take a passenger ferry directly to pier 50 and Seattle’s famous waterfront. Walk 15 minutes to Pike Place Market, Aquarium or World Cup stadiums! Bright, lush and very spacious barn loft studio & small bedroom. New solar panels- see photo. We are now carbon-neutral! Enjoy territorial views of pastures & garden. Queen bed w/memory foam topper, double futon couch in separate small bedroom. Kitchenette, dining table, luxurious couches. Come relax!
