The Shine main house is the perfect place to relax, refresh, and enjoy the beauty that Uganda has to offer. Situated right on the Nile River, the house features a spacious, comfortable, beautiful & relaxing space within a secure compound. We are a short drive into Jinja town and a short boat ride to go kayak or stand up paddle board the Nile. You also are welcome to enjoy our many fruit trees, relax in a hammock chair, or join a game of football with the kids that gather nearby to play.

It's unique location allows for both sunrise and sunset to be enjoyed from the covered terrace or anywhere on the lush property grounds. Rain & well water for your dishes, solar power for light, a rooster for your alarm clock, this lovely spot has a way of making you slow down and appreciate the little things.

Drive for just 10 minutes out of Jinja Town and you will reach at this beautiful River View Room, which is part of Kimuli Cottages. This cottage has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with hot shower and a self-contained kitchen with fridge. And of course a view over the River Nile! Free parking is in front of the door.
