Originally built in the late 1800s as a dairy farm, Glencoe Country Bed & Breakfast has been lovingly restored to preserve its comfortable old-world charm. Hand-feed Highland cattle, stroll through the orchard or rose gardens taking in the spectacular view of Mt Roland or unwind with a beverage under the shade of our hundred-year-old pepper tree. Set in the heart of Cradle Mountain and surrounded by lush rolling hills, our working hobby farm is the perfect base to explore North-West Tasmania.

The Racecourse Inn - Upstairs Queen Suite.

The Racecourse Inn was purpose built as a coaching inn in 1860 by ticket-of-leave convict William Dean, and is now a heritage B&B. The Queen Suite is a Queen sized bedroom with separate sitting room (with a sofa bed), with an interconnecting bathroom in between. The bathroom has a shower, and separate toilet, with doors from both sides (bedroom and sitting room). All linen and towels are provided, and bathroom amenities. The tariff includes a full cooked and continental breakfast for two.

The Racecourse Inn was purpose built in 1860 as a coaching inn, and has been offering accommodation ever since. This beautiful building is surrounded by established gardens, with some rare and unusual trees and shrubs, and abundant roses in spring & summer. Guests are welcome to enjoy our beautiful cottage gardens, and to use the outdoor BBQ. The Racecourse Inn is the perfect base for exploring historic Longford (established 1813), the Tamar Valley wine route and the Northern Midlands.

Myrtle Room

A heritage listed bed and breakfast style accommodation. There are three rooms available in the recently renovated Jubilee Hall. The Oak Suite has a private bathroom a, dining area coffee table seating and a tv with netflix.The Huon and Sassafras Room's share a bathroom. The old Wesleyan Church circa 1885 is available for use to all guests and includes a large refectory table for meals and flat screen tv with netflix.

Delightful heritage bedroom with twelve foot ceiling and king bed. The bathroom features a double spa bath, and tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets and port are provided, along with all bedding and towels. The tariff includes a full cooked and continental breakfast, and guests are welcome to use the guest lounge in the dining room and also the English cottage style garden.

Birdwing in-house bed and breakfast is nestled in our large garden which is surrounded by bush. The lovely room has its private entrance. As the the only guests you can relax here and use us as the base from which to explore the north of Tasmania.
