Big Bear’s Den - On Lake Alexander

This spacious home is located on beautiful Lake Alexander just west of Merrill, Wisconsin. Enjoy the tranquil view year-round as you plan the many activities that this location offers. You bring the boat, and we'll supply the dock. Throw in your ski's or wakeboard, and don't forget your fishing poles! Three pound small mouth bass are not uncommon and the monster's of fresh water fish, the musky, are plentiful. Add in walleyes, crappies, northern pike and this location is a fisherman's dream!

Located just two blocks from the downtown Wausau restaurant and shopping district, this modern ground floor 2 Bedroom apartment is tucked in a unique and private location which offers easy access to enjoy downtown by foot, bike or car. The apartment is well suited for a busy work trip, busy vacation, or just to relax. January 2026 note- Great skiing stay or work stay with our solid winter weather and snowfall. Great improvement last year in adjacent downtown area and it's pedestrian access.

* Extra sanitizing measures are in place during the COVID-19 Pandemic. * My place is cozy, clean, and quiet with all the comforts of home! It is located half way between the highway and downtown. You will have the entire upstairs to yourself during your stay, including a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with shower, and an open concept kitchen, dining area, living room, and work desk. You'll also have your own private entrance and free off street parking in the back of the house.

Pooh’s Hideout is a unique, small cabin nestled beside Owl’s House. Fully insulated & heated, it stays cozy in winter & cool in summer with AC. Inside, you'll find a handcrafted futon that converts into a full-size bed with storage. The shared full bathroom with a shower is just 50 yards away in the barn. Relax indoors or unwind in the shared open-air pavilion. Enjoy evenings by one of our firepits or cook on the gas grill. A peaceful place with rustic charm—perfect for nature lovers!

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. If you are looking for a little getaway, check out this beautiful cabin. Located on the Jersey Flowage (Tomahawk River) Just mins from Downtown Tomahawk, Lake Nokomis, and Lake Mohawksin, across the street from Halfmoon Lake. All utilities are included in your rental price, even Wi-Fi. Completely furnished w/ 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, TV, charcoal or gas grill, spacious kitchen and living room, dock, v-haul boat lift, kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit. ATV and snowmobile trails nearby.
