Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Crowfoot's Cottage - Waveney Valley Broads Fishing

Crowfoot's Cottage is situated on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, in the beautiful Waveney Valley. Lying in grounds of seven acres including a lake and woodland, it is a haven for wildlife and an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. The oldest parts of Crowfoot's cottage date from the 17th century and have been lovingly renovated. Within a short walk of the cottage are a village shop pub and Broome Heath which is ideal for dog walking/fishing. More shops and restaurants in Bungay just a mile away

The Old Music Room

The Old Music Room is in the beautiful and special village of Geldeston, in the Broads National Park. It’s a super-insulated ecologically-built guest house clad in traditional oak boarding, with a living wild-flower roof and stunning views directly out over the Waveney Valley. Geldeston is a glorious place to be and enjoyed by many visitors. The village is on the river Waveney with lots of places to access the river, very popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters. Walking distance to 2 pubs.

Our Cosy cottage is located between the lovely market towns of Beccles Bungay & Halesworth. Quiet village with its historic church is Ideally situated and only 20 mins from the Suffolk coast, Norwich,Norfolk Broads and all the local attractions such as Lattitude, Snape Maltings, Aldburgh Carnival. We are 10 mins from St Peters Brewery also The raw milk shed is 10 mins away where Baron Bigod cheese is made, 2 mins on is The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation museum. Sizewell is 20 miles from us.

You and your dog/s can enjoy a private enclosed meadow to sit and watch the wildlife fly over head. Dip your feet in the River Waveney situated alongside the dog friendly village pub, a mere 5 mins walk away or stroll along to the woods. Your young child/ren too can experience glamping, we can set up a chair bed with a mattress topper for a cosy stay. Den building in the meadow will be a delight as they embrace nature around them. The Studio at Stone House

A unique place with great style, the Studio at Stone house is minutes from fabulous fishing lakes and dog walking trails and a 10 minute drive from the legendary Norfolk broads, It is a two story fully furnished holiday studio with one king size bed on the first floor and an open plan lounge and kitchen together with a separate wet room bathroom on the ground floor. Our accommodation is self-contained; a living space with two sets of French doors giving views over fields stretching for miles including a wood burner, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven and hob. A bedroom that sleeps two in a super king bed with French doors overlooking fields. A large bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

Wainford Mill House is a spacious riverside property opening directly onto the River Waveney. Step from the back door to a private footbridge, boat access and around an acre of riverside gardens with woodland, a wood-fired pizza oven and excellent wild swimming. Light, airy rooms suit large groups, with a mix of en-suites and family bathrooms. Full of character and well-behaved pets are welcome.
