Locally made driftwood sculpture and art provide unique decoration. To make the most of the sun all day long, the house has two outdoor seating areas - one at the front of the house and one at the back.

Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby.
