Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish, renovated Vintage Mobile home in beautiful Hunter Valley. We are 1.5 miles off the 101 & 2.3 miles from Trees of Mystery & DeMartins Beach. We are located inside the Redwood State & National Parks. This property is remodeled with custom Redwood details throughout. Fully fenced and next to our Little Community Park with Redwoods all around you.. We offer fresh eggs, bagels and homemade jam to enjoy during your stay. We look forward to hosting you!

Smith River - Riverfront Retreat

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

The Bluebird House

Enjoy storm watching on the Oregon Coast in a unique way; be warm and cozy inside, feel the sway of the tree, and watch the waves crash below against the famous Samuel Boardman Corridor. Whether you are romatic love birds or a family of adventurers, you will love it! Property is set on seven acres of farm, forest and beach. There are gardens year around, transformed in winter by local fairies and twinkling lights.

Riverfront Cabin

Cozy yet rustic cabin in the Redwoods overlooking the Smith River, purest in CA. Half mile of shoreline, excellent fishing and wildlife viewing. Round hot tub and a wood stove for the winter. Peaceful location yet min. from Hiouchi café, store and Giant Redwoods of Jedediah Smith State Park. 15 min. to Crescent City and miles of ocean beaches. Outdoor grill and fire pit. Wonderful for couples, families and groups, you won't find a better location on the river to relax and enjoy nature.

The Dragonfly Inn

Built in 2023, enjoy the redwoods, rivers and beaches with a stay at the Dragonfly! 30-40 minutes from Stout Grove, Jedediah, Prairie Creek, Ladybird Johnson and Avenue of the Titans. 10 minutes to Trees of Mystery & beach to catch a sunset. Close to the Klamath River fishing. Clean, comfortable and convenient for creating great memories with family and friends. Dogs are welcome although back of property is not fully fenced. Just outside your door you will find a manicured 3-acre blissful escape from the hustle of life. Explore old growth redwood stumps, watch birds and pollinators work in the sun, and close your eyes to absorb the sound of the waterfall at the pond. Pick fresh berries or fruit when it is in season, and enjoy soaking up the peace.

Red Barn 5 mins to the River, Ocean & Redwoods!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located 3 miles from the pristine Smith River, Redwood National Park and the beach. Everything is there you might need during your stay. The barn is tastefully fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen in a country setting with outdoor seating, fire pit, hammocks and a gas grill for a relaxing getaway enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for your enjoyment.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.
