Margaret is our fantastic shepherd’s hut

Our cute and cosy shepherd's hut gives you the best of both worlds. Hidden in a green oasis next to a waterfall and near the beach, the hut is just a short walk from Laxey's pubs, restaurants and shops. Our hut has a full size double bed with a proper premium mattress, a bathroom with all the facilities and a fully equipped living area that gives cooking, eating and sitting space. Our hut is a tiny house, not a big tent- all that you need is cleverly fitted into a stylish, cosy hideaway for two.

The hot tub by the waterfall-inclusive facilities

Located just south of the center of the island, this comfortable and spacious retreat boasts a 12 seater wood burning hot tub (private, hot when you arrive, and electrically heated overnight), gym, and firepit, in the secluded social area next to the river at the rear. With the TT course a mile north, and shops and pub 1/3 mile south, its the perfect retreat from watching the racing or exploring the island. NB: All amenities free to use, including the tub & wood for the burner & firepit.

Spacious bungalow apartment

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful accomodation. It has spacious lounge dining area. (330sq.ft) Large master bedroom, with 3 patio doors opening onto its own patio area, with stream and pond outside. King size bed, to chill and relax in. Twin room next door for other family members. Bathroom and kitchen off the spacious lounge area, with 2 leather chairs, and 3 seater leather settee. Travel cot, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Plenty of safe free parking.

Ground floor 2 bedroom Penthouse Apt

This apartment is huge with many period features and boasts a massive lounge with log burner and bay window and quite possibly the largest sofa you will ever see. There is a well equipped galley kitchen, separate office area, dining area and 2 further seating areas. Upstairs there is a main bedroom with en suite shower room and a second bedroom with a separate luxury bathroom. It sleeps 4 adults / children. The en-suite has 1 King size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds.

Self-contained studio annex on Douglas riverside

Ideal if you love peaceful countryside location with wild birds and rabbits yet want to be a walking distance to shopping and entertainment, or TT course. Good base for exploring the island, with private parking and easy access to bus and train station, as well as footpaths. Dolls House annex has private entrance and outdoor sitting/dining area. Cooked breakfast may be provided at request although many delicious eateries are only a 10 min walk. Self check-in. Strictly no smokers.

Riverside studio

Welcome to unique getaway surrounded by a small forest with walking paths. Situated directly opposite small stream that winds through the landscape with direct access to the historic Manx Electric Railway stop. The property features an open-plan living space , complete with kitchenette and a separate modern shower room. You're only 10-minute journey from Douglas; Ideal for a luxurious glamping experience, this is a place to recharge, reflect, and rediscover the simple pleasures.

The Annex

Spacious private Annex to family home in quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of Douglas. Host lives at the linked family home so some noise will travel through locked access. A half hour walk/10-minute drive to central Douglas and 5 minute drive to Nobles Hospital. Beautiful hill views and private off-road parking. Comfortable property with access to private established garden, with seating and fire pit. Use of gym is at own risk, owner accepts no liability.

One bedroom apartment close to amenities.

Compact studio apartment comprising of a bedroom with double bed, lounge dining area with a double sofa bed and shower room. Located on the TT course at Ballagarey Corner (w3w wanted vests baker), on a main bus route, approximately 3.5 miles from Douglas and just a few minutes drive to the nearest pubs and shops. In a rural setting with access to country walks. Well behaved dogs welcome but they may not be left in the property alone.

Foghorn cottage with stunning views.

Unique historic lighthouse building in a stunning location with peace and tranquility. Foghorn cottage is only minutes from the capital Douglas and all amenities, but feels so remote and wonderfully free. Please note, the cottage is only accessible by foot via the footpath across the beach or from the top of Douglas head. 200 steps one way. (takes about 5 minutes to walk) Short video is available if required.

Quiet Corner Cottage

Designed for two, this apartment offers a wonderful sense of light and space with its open-plan kitchen and its bedroom with patio doors leading onto the cottage gardens. This peaceful and tranquil accommodation has comfortable furnishings throughout and with its wide doors and spacious areas, offers access to disabled guests if required. The bed in the bedroom is King-sized.

Modern 2 bed furnished apartment (Wi-fi + Netflix)

Relax in this calm, stylish space close to the town centre (approx 15 mins walk) and less than a minute from the prom. Close to a small supermarket, cinema, gym and various takeaways. Also suitable for short term relocation/corporate lets. Please contact me for details as all dates post September currently showing as blocked but may be available.

Private Annex

My annex was recently built and is finished to a very high standard. It is fully insulated with underfloor heating and is equipped with everything you may need to make your stay comfortable. The annex is located to the rear of my property which is within a highly desirable area of Douglas and is extremely quiet and private.
