Whispering Oak was lovingly built in 1908 by the Mothershed family. It is adorned by a massive Oak tree that holds a swing. We have divided the house into two private apartments. Secret Hideaway is on the right. There are 3 spacious rooms. Living/dining with adjoining kitchenette, large bedroom with closet with en-suite luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. There a lovely front porch with swing that provides amazing sunset views and a beautiful backyard with large covered portico.

The Back House: Private Midtown Studio Guest House

The Back House is located in one of Memphis’ nicest neighborhoods, Central Gardens, and features a private backyard and private entrance just for you. Enjoy a queen hybrid mattress, futon couch, table for 2, a fully stocked kitchen, Keurig coffee station, and a 43 inch TV with Roku with free Netflix. For one or two adults only. Sorry no pets. No smoking in the Cottage. We are within minutes of all the amenities Memphis has to offer! Close to Crosstown Concourse and Rhodes College!
