Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. We invite you to come...... and experience country life.

Cozy Green Cottage with Private Beach

Cozy cottage hidden away in a quiet neighborhood 1.5 blocks from Lake Michigan, featuring a screened back porch perfect for morning coffee. Near the Benton Harbor Arts District, downtown St Joe, this cottage is surrounded by local restaurants, breweries, wineries, golf courses and shops. The beach is a year round destination, each season has its own wonders. Note: no TV, and WiFi can be spotty due to hills. Expect 90+ tiered steps to the sandy beach below. AC upstairs, original claw footed tub.

Fogarty’s Flying Diamond Ranch

A unique and beautiful, newly added bunkhouse on the upper level of a barn on a working cattle ranch! Completely private and peaceful, you'll hear birds chirping and tractors running. Overlook and explore 152 acres of trails, horses, cattle and much more. Guests are encouraged to experience a tour of the ranch with Rancher Tom free of charge! 10 minutes from Silver Beach/Downtown St. Joseph and Hagar Beach, both on the gorgeous Lake Michigan. Bonfires welcome with wood provided & pet friendly!

Tucked along a quiet dirt road, the cabin is ideally located 15 minutes from South Haven and 10 minutes from St. Joseph making it close enough for dining, shopping, and activities, yet far enough to unwind in nature’s calm.

Sweet cottage on our farm: Fully equipped kitchen and furnished living/sleeping area 14’x15' approx., washer/dryer. Sleeps 4: queen bed and queen sofa bed. Lots of privacy and next to organic garden, fields, stable and fruit orchards. All utilities, TV and WI-FI included. Well water with new water softener and water heater. Pet friendly; no pet fee. Lots of farm paths to walk your pet. Encourage off leash if trained. Horses have moved to another farm while pasture and stable rehabbed.

There are many options for casual & fine dining, shopping, walking trails, enjoying stunning sunsets at Lake Michigan & wine tours just minutes away.

Harbor House near Lake Michigan

Welcome to Harbor House- Your ideal beach adventure awaits! 3 bedroom home close to many exquisite beaches, wine country, dune hikes, and Harbor Shores Pro PGA golf course. Just a few miles from downtown St. Joseph, MI! We have a large backyard and huge deck for outdoor entertaining. Can sleep 6 adults comfortably, and 1-2 kids on a futon. Please note there is only one bathroom currently. 2 paddleboards for rent- beach is 2 miles away. Small dogs by approval only, with fee.

Welcome to The Red Tin Cottage of Harbor Country! Nestled in a quiet, rural setting Red Tin is a character-filled, country-chic escape in beautiful Southwest Michigan. Within minutes of award winning beaches, golf courses, wineries, breweries, and restaurants you can be close to it all and retreat back to peace. Take a dip in the hot tub on a starry night, relax in the claw foot tub after a day of play, or enjoy stories around the firepit with family and friends. Come gather!

Lake Bluff cottage, Unforgettable view and sunsets

We have recently renovated and brought this charming cottage, located less than 10 mins to the heart of St. Joes, back to life! It is perched atop a beautiful bluff, high above the Lake Michigan shores- highlighting expansive views and stunning sunsets. Come stargaze with us (starting this spring) at our wonderful Lake Michigan Cottage. Bring your fur baby to enjoy the getaway! ($150 pet fee) 5 night minimum for Holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July)

Cabin off 39 - Peaceful, private one bedroom cabin

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Nestled among the trees, it provides a quiet getaway from the chaos of life allowing you to recharge and renew. The main residence is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The cabin is secluded and yet close to local attractions, restaurants, biking and nature trails. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.

The Shire

Nestled on five secluded, tree-lined acres, with a pond, waterfall, fire pit, tree swing, basketball court and walking trails, The Shire feels a million miles away from it all - but isn't! We are only minutes away from wineries, breweries, amazing beaches, restaurants and shopping. (Notre Dame is an easy 30 minute drive). Southwest Michigan is a beautiful place to live! We'd LOVE to share it with you.
