Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). Cosy little cottage in Shaftesbury

My cottage is tucked away in a little lane by Shaftesbury hospital. It’s very near to the site of the historic Shaftesbury Abbey, Park Walk with its lovely rolling views over the Dorset countryside. Gold Hill - made famous by the much loved 1970s Hovis Bread TV commercial is within a short walk away. The cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the borders of beautiful Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset, where the countryside, walking, cycling and dining out opportunities are fantastic.

Lovely cosy place to stay in the heart of Dorset

Oak Tree Barn is a self-catering holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Hazelbury Bryan, Dorset. The conversion was completed in early 2012 using locally reclaimed materials and keeping many of the original features. The Barn is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer, the detached Barn has a large open-plan lounge and kitchen with views towards the local hills. The two bedrooms (one double with bath, one twin with shower) overlook paddocks where sheep graze and chicken forage.

Our home is in a typical Dorset village. It is one of the oldest properties in the village, but has been renovated to a really high standard. Everything is contemporary with a 'country' feel. Jasmine Cottage

Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.
