The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

River Belle Glamping

River Belle is set on a working farm only 10 minutes away from the city of New Plymouth. A secluded Glamping site set on 160 acres next to Mangaoraka river. A geodesic dome luxuriously fitted out, is accompanied by a amenities hut, providing a charming kitchen and separate bathroom. The hut has an outdoor bath with view of Mt Taranaki. 'Painted Skies' is a modern two bedroom guest house situated on our 20 acre lifestyle block 3km from the Te Kuiti township in the heart of the King Country. Located beside the main house you have your own access and outdoor area. In summer there is the family pool for you to use too. This property is private, surrounded by trees and farmland. We are also located along the Te Araroa track an ideal place to stop between Waitomo and Pureora Forest.

Cozy Blackfoot Lodge

Taumarunui is central to a range of outdoor activities. There are mountain bike trails, and tramping trails. Situated between 2 rivers provides fishing and kayaking experiences. We are about 35 minutes from Mt. Ruapehu and Whakapapa ski village. We are located about 4 Ks from Taumarunui town which has a supermarket, restaurants and other places of interest. please note: microwave only for heating food
