A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax or adventure in a modern cabin cut into a rock wall <15 mins from Salida, CO. We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Absolute peace and one with nature. No roads in sight from cabin, sans driveway. Direct access out the back door to a beautiful waterfall, hiking trails, and a 14er (Mt. Princeton). Unobstructed views of mountains and wildlife. Listen to the brook as it flows through property. In middle of wilderness, but close to amenities. Soothe your weary self in the Hot Springs brand private hot tub with lounger off back deck gazing at the billions of stars above. Firepit with seating (bring own firewood).

Town Hut - Cozy haven on BVs mtn side, EV charging

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.

A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people and plenty of space for a few more if sofa's or sleeping bags on the floor suits you. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest. This log home is 1600 sf, with an addition locked off for the owners' residence, each with private entrances and driveways. There is plenty of space for parking for several vehicles. Only 5 minutes from town and the Arkansas River, and 15 minutes from local hot springs, and nearby to countless fishing & 4-wheeling experiences.

Our cabin is perfectly located in the small mountain town of Buena Vista. It’s a short distance to downtown, South Main, and the gold medal fishing and world class whitewater on the Arkansas River. However, it has a quiet secluded feel and easy access to the hot springs that are just outside of town. You’ll love our cottage because of the well-kept stylish interior, the park-like outdoor space, and great views. It’s an ideal base camp for couples and solo adventurers.
