My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Winter has arrived and we are no strangers to snow. Venture into wild or stay cozy by our fireplace and marvel at nature through the huge living room windows. Beyond the cabin only the vast GW National Forest. Our cabin offers all modern amenities including high speed wifi, central air, and a gourmet kitchen. Keep your eyes open for wildlife. The cabin is surrounded by the Monongahela National forest with hiking trails starting from the cabin and a beautiful mountain steam that runs on the property, providing a calming, stress free background. The Bushwhacker cabin is only a short distance to the Marlinton Williams river , 45min to Snowshoe, scenic highway, the Greenbrier,Hot Springs VA, and Lewisburg WV(voted coolest town)

Brent's Cabin

Enjoy our cozy and comfortable cabin situated on 20 private wooded acres near several trout streams, George Washington National Forest, Virginia Game Commission, hiking trails, and caves. Brent's Cabin sleeps four, including a double bed and two twin beds in the loft. For skiing we are 1 hour and 30 minutes from snowshoe and 30 minutes from The Homestead. For fishing we are 5 minutes away from the Bullpasture, 10 minutes from the Cowpasture, and 25 minutes from the Jackson River.

The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
