Highland Shepherd Huts are located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, offering the ultimate glamping experience. Perfect for two or 4 for either a well needed escape or romantic break. Experience nature and adventure in our shepherd's huts situated in 16 acres of woodland at Mondhuie near Nethy Bridge. We accept well behaved dogs and the hut only has room for 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. We have to charge for this and the cost is £30 per dog per stay. Please leave cash on departure.

'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Ideal for families or couples, with a king-size bed, bunk beds for children and space for one well-behaved dog. Enjoy exploring the countryside, a complimentary farm tour, hot tub for stargazing, fire pit BBQ for marshmallows, and a secure garden for relaxing and making lasting memories.

Nestled amongst mature trees and set in a third of an acre. There is an abundance of wonderful walks, cycle tracks, Munros to climb all right on your doorstep. The villages of Ballater, to the West, and Aboyne, to the East are both 10 minutes drive away by car or by bus.
