Entire guest house located 10 minutes outside of Murfreesboro and 45 min. from downtown Nashville. Stay with us and have privacy with a detached suite and private access. No shared living space! Easy access to the highway and 12 miles from MTSU. Stay outside of the hustle and bustle of the Boro, but have the convenience of shopping and events. Full laundry room and kitchen for those longer stays! Drive in movie theatre, antique shops, Hop Springs concerts, state parks and much more nearby!

Kayak Cottage - solitude with river access

Recently transformed from a horse barn, Kayak Cottage now bears little resemblance to its former use - the hosts managed to retain the former barn's rustic charm while completely redesigning the structure. An eclectic mix of materials were re-purposed to create the welcoming space - both inside and out. Located on a rise above the Collins River - the river is not immediately visible but is only steps away! There is also easy access for launching kayaks or small fishing boats on the property.

Phelps Pharm, I Was Almost A Treehouse

The treehouse you always wanted as child but can enjoy as an adult. I started out next to three trees that had to be removed but you still may feel a treehouse sway if the wind blows the right way. We are a working farm raising beef cattle and offer horseback riding lessons, arena rides and trail rides along with kayaking down our local river in McMinnville. Our guests have the opportunity to experience farm life and assist us in gathering eggs, feeding the cows or helping with the horses.

Welcome to Sunrise Mt. Cabin is located on top of the Cumberland Plateau with a great view of the valley check out our 2 other cabins Patriot's Retreat & Sunrise Mtn Treeshouse. The cabin has approximately 1400 square feet and is fully furnished with full kitchen and more. Hiking trails and fishing pond only a short walk away. Several major state parks with hikes within a few miles of the cabin. The cabin has fiber optic WiFi which is not shared. Pet cats not allowed; we are allergic.

It is a working farm and near a river and smallchildren should never be unattended!

Some of these include Stone Door State Park, Greeter Falls, Fiery Gizzard trail, The Caverns music venue and cave tours, and Cumberland Caverns. There is also golfing available at 6 locations within an hours drive or less!

Located 1.5 miles off Interstate 24, 1 hour 20 minutes from Chattanooga, 45 minutes from Nashville, 15 - 30 minutes from Murfreesboro, Shelbyville, Manchester, and Tullahoma, and only 9 miles from historic Bell Buckle. Our newly renovated farmhouse style home, which sleeps up to 10, will provide you a peaceful and quiet setting for escaping and relaxing.
