The K7 Depot Cabin sits directly next to a large body of water. Conveniently located 10 miles from Pittsburg and 30 miles from Joplin. A very small train comes through an average of 2 times a day, 1 being in the middle of the night. Usually no train on Saturdays or Sundays. If you stand on the porch you might be able to get the conductor to honk his horn at you! Bank fishing is allowed

The Long Branch Loft

The Loft is part of a 100+ year old building that has been fully renovated giving guests a unique stay. The Loft consists of one upstairs bedroom with a king size bed, setting room, kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. When entering The Loft you will see an open concept with a 15 ft ceiling and brick wall with an outline of the large back door and windows of the original building. The decor theme is local heritage with a focus on our farming community.

This downtown 1910 loft is in the heart of Pittsburg and close to everything. Walkable to most bars and restaurants and you can hit up the local coffee shops in the morning. There is a meat market across the street and a brewery. Private onsite, well-lit parking in the back of the property, a private deck and front views of Broadway. This loft is 1,600 sq. ft and sleeps 4 comfortably and has room for a few more on the large sectional in the living room and the couch in the lodge room.

Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
