Acadia Gateway Getaway

The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). All one room, with kitchenette, queen bed, futon couch, and fold out single bed.

Walk to the marina, shops, and restaurants, bike to Acadia’s Brown Mountain Gatehouse, or drive 15 minutes to Bar Harbor and 20 minutes to Southwest Harbor. A public pool is just across the street (July–August). Settle in, slow down, and enjoy the island life - Maine style.

The Farm By The Sea Private Apartment

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.
