White Barn is a private two-bedroom house designed to take in the sunny northerly aspect and encompasses many contemporary design features, making our guests feel like they won’t want to leave. White Barn is centrally located 600m from the North Hobart cafe/restaurant strip; 1.5km from the city, 2km from the waterfront and 15 min drive to MONA.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Inner city oasis

The modern studio is nestled in a luxurious garden providing a sense of serenity at the rear of our 130-year-old heritage house. Warm up next to the wood-fire after a short stroll to the local restaurants, bars and cafes located in North Hobart. Situated within 1.9km of the CBD and 2.8km to Salamanca waterfront, there is a bus stop at the end of the street. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

Laneway 98 - Designer Luxe Cottage on City Fringe

Laneway 98 is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of South Hobart. Offering a blend of modern luxury and historic charm, the late 1800's worker’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard, utilising original features where possible. The ideal base for exploring Hobart and its surrounds. Only a 5-minute walk to the Cascade Brewery, Cascades Female Factory, and the South Hobart rivulet. If you venture a little further, you will find the CBD and Salamanca waterfront.

Little Arthur

Nestled away in bustling North Hobart is Little Arthur. Brother to Little Elizabeth, Little Arthur has all the conveniences at your door while also providing the comforts of home. After braving the elements during Hobart's notorious winter and filling bellies with world class food and wine, warm yourself by the fire or soak in the claw foot tub while perusing the many books on offer. Welcome to the Zoo; a new purpose built ‘treehouse’ watching over the native wildlife who have found safe harbour in this retired orchard.
