If self driving a 4x4 is necessary. Prepare for tranquil walks on our idyllic beach and swimming in the warm Indian ocean.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups( other units available).

The lodge also offers fishing charters, boat and dhow excursions to nearby Bazaruto and Paradise Islands, including snorkelling.

Two-bedroomed all-equiped self-catering house, plus two-single room self-contained cottages, located on the island of Macaneta, 30 km North of Maputo. Located in the semi-wilderness, 400 m from the beach, 500 m from some bars and restaurants. A 4WD is not necessary to reach the house, except in extreme weather. You may need one to move around to some locations though.

The lodge restaurant and bar are 200m away with amazing food and cold beer, overlooking the vast Lake Nhambavale. A vehicle with high clearance is required to reach Nhambavale Lodge, 4x4 is preferable.
