Our fully equipped apartment with balcony is located by beautilful Lake Lagarfljót in Egilsstaðir, East Iceland. Enjoy a unique view of the lake & mountains There is space for 4 people. In front are 2 private parking spots and the apartment has its own private entrance. You can walk over bridge to the town. Vök Baths is 5 minutes drive away. More sights are within one hour from us - Puffins, Hengifoss waterfall, reindeer park and more. Ideal if you want to stay a few days to explore and relax.

From my house 🏡 you can easily relax and visit the most wonderful places in East Iceland all around my home. Vok baths, the wonderful Spa with floating pools is only 7 min. drive. The beautiful Studlagil, basaltic canyon is also near here and if you want to visit the puffins in Borgarfjordur Eystri or go to the artistic town Seydisfjordur, (the beautiful old town) you don’t have to drive very far from my 🏡 You have 2 bedrooms and we share the rest with My registration nr is: HG-00020751

Sumarhúsið Flóra er einstakt, íslensk og gamaldags, 12 km frá Egilssstöðum, staðsett efst og í enda í sumarhúsabyggðinni. Einstaklega gott og fagurt útsýni yfir dalinn og Lagarfljótið. Fuglasöngur, kyrrð, rómantík og notalegheit. Flóra er jarðhæð með svefnlofti. Á neðri hæðinni er inngangur, stofa, eldhús, bað og svefnherbergi. Á svefnlofti eru 2 rúm. Öll rúmin eru ný með góðum gæðum. Brattur stigi upp á svefnloft. Húsbúnaður er bæði nýtískulegur og gamaldags. Á verönd eru stólar og borð.

Off-grid cabin

Secluded cozy cabin that offers incredible views and a private waterfall. The cabin has 5 beds and two sofa beds. Included with the stay is private access to 3000 acres of beautiful nature to enjoy. A 4x4 car is recommended but not necessary if you are willing to walk the last 100 meters. Important: it is off grid and so it has very limited electricity and only cold running water. There is gas heating, gas grilling and a stove available. IMPORTANT FOR WINTER BOOKINGS: 4x4 car is required

Original restored turf farmhouse in the highlands

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

This is one of three rooms in our beautiful accommodation at Mjóanes farm. This is a SMALL ROOM, 6m2 (square meters) and a very good for 1 person, it is very comfortable and cozy with good bed 90x200 cm. It is 18 km. from Egilsstaðir on road 931 at the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaðir. The closest grocery store is in town Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape.

This is one of three rooms in our beautiful accommodation at Mjóanes farm. It is 18 km. from town Egilsstaðir on road 931 on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The closest grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape.
