O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Hugo's Cottage is located on a quiet lane in the heart of Ballymore Village. This cottage can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably. It is a traditional two-storey cottage with a new extension which holds a kitchen area, utility room and downstairs wheelchair accessible bathroom w/electric shower. There are two double rooms, one downstairs, one upstairs, with an additional double pull out sofa bed on the upstairs landing/reading area. There is a bath/shower upstairs. There is ample parking.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
