Etxetxu Ankora

Este edificio, conocido popularmente como Etxetxu, fue construido en 1612 y es el más antiguo del Puerto Viejo, anterior incluso al propio puerto, que fue elevado en 1629, diecisiete años después. Esta singular casa que preside la entrada a la parte alta de la barriada, fue además Ayuntamiento de Getxo durante 22 años (desde 1838 hasta 1860), sede de la Cofradía de Pescadores y Escuela de Pilotaje de los marineros Lemanes. Incluso ha sido escenario de varias películas, la más sonada “Un poco de Chocolate”. Como acontecimiento más reciente, el sábado 12 de agosto de 1972, en plenas fiestas Puerto Viejo de Algorta, es en la planta baja de este histórico edificio, donde se bautizó la popular bebida Kalimotxo". y actualmente ofrecemos dos apartamentos turísticos en este emblemático enclave
