Little Yellow Cottage - Little Island Lake -Beach

Fun times to be had at this up-north beach house. Nice island themed cottage on a sandy beach. New 750 square foot deck built this year. Paddleboat, kayak and fish this great little lake or bring your toys. All-Sports lake right by the Sand Lake Trailhead. Two queen size beds, 2 queen size futons, one twin bed and plenty room for sleeping on the breezy back porch. Bonfire pit right on the beach. Kayaks, paddleboat, floaties and many chairs, cornhole boards sand toys all provided. 3 smart TV's.

Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

Little Island Escape

Charming 2-Bedroom Retreat on Little Island Drive – Perfect for Relaxation & Adventure! Enjoy a spacious living area with comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, and two cozy bedrooms designed for restful nights. Located on Little Island Drive, guests will have full access to the entire house. 2 Bedrooms with comfortable beds and a pull out sofa in the living room. Cabin-like guesthouse only 4 miles from Tawas!

This adorable two bedroom, one bath, cabin like guesthouse sits behind the owners house with an attached private one car garage. This house features two private entrances! The house is about 1,000 sq feet, and includes a fenced in backdoor so your pets can enjoy the outdoors in a secured space. There is a deck with a small grill to enjoy your outdoor festivities. Back yard also has a fire pit with wood for those crisp nights of relaxation by a fire.

Knotty pine furnished cabin, 2 Bedroom and full pullout futon, a/c window unit, Spectrum internet, very large lot (1 acre) Close to Big Island Lake and ORV trails. ! Sand Lake area has 7 Lakes enjoy water sports, and trails are endless for winter sports. Acres of State land for Hunters. Downtown Tawas is 9 miles away. Au Sable River, Lumberman's Memorial, groomed ski trails, kayaks, paddle boards may be available to rent.

The Cabin

Only weekly, Friday to Friday rentals in July and August. Pontoon (new interior) rental May-September, $650 per week. While we lovingly refer to our home up north as "The Cabin" it is far from just a cabin. Cottage on the outside, cabin on the inside, this home has it all! LAKE, ORV trails, a stunning home, and best of all you can bring your fur babies (dogs only - $100 per stay). Ramp to front porch for more accessibility.
