Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

Strawbale Cottage

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Renovated 2 Bed 1 Bath Unit

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located renovated office space. With two bedrooms plus a daybed/trundle everyone will get a good night sleep. The living room is spacious with a 55" smart tv and high speed internet. The kitchen may be a bit on the small side but is stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. Bathroom stocked with toiletries. Located 15 minutes from the local hospital and 20 minutes to San Juan Quality Waters. Park up to 4 vehicles

This pristine little Scandinavian D-log cabin sits on over 2 quiet wooded acres a brief 5-minute drive from uptown Pagosa (our more commercial area with nicer grocery store, dining, brewery, Walmart, etc) and about 10 minutes to the springs (downtown). Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. Welcome to our lovely small 2 story A frame cabin. The famous San Juan River is steps away ready for fishing. Just minutes away from the Navajo Dam Lake Marina. The house is clean, fully equipped and ready for your stay! Cabin comfortably sleeps 3 guests, more are welcome! Two lawns available for camping. Large area for parking. One 30 and 50 volt amp plug in for campers. The panoramic nature view and relaxing visit will make you want to come back again guaranteed! It is the perfect getaway!

The Songbird

If you love nature you are going to love The Songbird. All day long you will hear songbirds. And in the evenings, you may see deer, turkeys, pheasants, geese & quail. It’s a 1-bedroom 512sq.ft guest house with a 256 sq. ft. covered porch and it’s located at a secluded distance from our private home. It was built for visiting family members and is used throughout the year. The little cabin is surrounded by 4 ft. chain-link fence so that everyone, including our pets, is welcome and safe.

This guest studio is surrounded by tall Ponderosa Pines. The deer love to hang out in the shade of the oak brush during the day. There is a front/back porch to enjoy Colorado sun with your own private hot tub (included in the price). Sorry, no pets! Secure your food there’s been a bear seen in the neighborhood !!
