The 300 acre property shares a 2.5km border with the Grampians National Park and backs onto the stunning western escarpment of the Mt. Difficult Range. It is set on a property of nearly 30 acres with abundant wildlife and scenery. It is located approximately 5-6 kms from the township of Avoca Victoria and it is within walking distance of a couple of local wineries and the Percydale historic area. It is isolated from any close neighbours and you do not have to share facilities with any other guests.

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.
