Crestview Cottage

A peaceful stay with scenic views. This house is located just off I-70 & I-76, 5 minutes from the abandoned PA Turnpike Tunnels, 10-15 minutes from the Juniata River, 5 minutes from the Buchanan State Forest. This home has 3 bedrooms with 3 beds, 1 full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room, washer & dryer. Has heat and AC. A deck with eating area and a front porch where you can enjoy your coffee in the comfort of a rocking chair & listen to the birds, or make a campfire in the backyard.

Sweet 2 bedroom bungalow. Cozy, ideal for lovers, or a quiet beautiful somewhat rustic retreat environment. Rooster has 1 full bath. Living room with satellite TV, Netflix; wood burning stove fireplace, wood provided, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, linens and starter paper goods furnished. Large deck and screen porch looking out on Cacapon Mountain. Hot tub off master bedroom deck in trees, feels like a tree house. Many mornings mist rises up from river, half mile away as crow flies.

The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Grouseland's Pondside Vacation Cottage

Set about a quarter mile of the road, our pet friendly solar powered vacation cottage is a perfect getaway for anyone trying to spend some alone time with nature! Guests have complete privacy inside the cottage with a full kitchen, two TV's, Wi-Fi, and a mini split system for heating and cooling. As well as exclusive access to the hot tub, fire pit and pond outside! We also have various shared hiking trails through the woods surrounding the cottage for campers and cottage guests to enjoy!

The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.
