The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls. hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most of the patio rooms also have enclosed private outdoor patios. All rooms enjoy outdoor entrances, ceiling fans and unshared HVAC systems. Available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds and microwaves, refrigerators, free coffee, and guest robes. Some of the rooms are “dog friendly” with a $35 per dog per night charge

Washington Plaza Hotel Pippa Penthouse FreeParking

The jewel of 215 Washington oozes ‘Santa Fe modern.’ The “Pippa” is a one of a kind space and guests are raving about the beds, linens, and coffee options. The penthouse comes with a full kitchen and sleeps up to four guests. Front and center in the historic Brown is this cozy room with a view of the mountains and its own sink and vanity. Luxurious king/double twin bed and linens will make for a restful night. The cowboy room is next to the tv/living room with dining table and comfy loveseat. Steps down the hallway is the rose bathroom with walk in shower and quality Turkish towels and high end shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The sleeping arrangement is a King a- Let us know if you want double twin.

In a hidden corner between the tiny village of Chama and the wilderness, there is a haven from the world. We call it Wildsong Retreat. Spend your day in charming Chama or nearby tourist favorite Pagosa Springs; ride our own Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad or picnic on the Continental Divide Trail. Then enjoy an evening in your lovely room or wander the property listening to the wild songs of birds, bugling elk, and wind in the pines around the campfire. You won't want to leave.

2nd floor rooms with A/C & a balcony overlooking the train yard and mountains. This is the closest accommodations to the train yard in town, walk right down to the station. It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens. The large bathrooms feature detailed tile adding a luxurious touch as well.

These rooms have one bedroom with a queen bed, a separate kitchen/living area with a futon. These rooms are ground floor just steps away from Alpines private park with river access. No Trailer Parking: Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading vehicles. Any guests traveling with trailers must use Red River's public parking areas for parking, loading, and unloading vehicles from trailers.
