The Walkers rest

Close to an area of outstanding natural beauty that is West Oxfordshire. A pretty and easy space to relax or use as a base to explore on foot, cycle or beyond, by rail. On the edge of the Cotswolds in one direction and not too far for shopping in the other, you could consider your options while walking across the countryside for a meal in one of the nearby villages. We don’t have a shop or pub here, but a twenty minute walk or five minute drive will get your essentials we haven’t thought of.

It is the perfect place from which to explore the rolling Cotswold countryside whilst still being close to the market towns of Witney, Woodstock and the City of Oxford. The cottage has underfloor heating , a log burner, and 2 cosy sofas. Bedrooms have Hypnos mattresses, 400 thread count Egyptian cotton linen and White Company toiletries. The Dovecote Cotswold Cottages are in the picturesque village of Churchill, which is in relatively close proximity to many tourist destinations such as Blenheim Palace, Clarkson's Farm, Stow on the Wold and Broadway Tower alongside a selection of well established amenities including the famous The Chequers Churchill and Daylesford organics. Our maximum occupancy is 2 adults and a young child.

Our Mirror Houses are located in a remote area of a family-run farm near the Oxfordshire village of Kirtlington. They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake.
