Eco Studio Retreat Maraetotara Valley

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Breakfast pack for the first day.

Our charming cottage looks directly into the incredible Wilkin valley. This is a truly special private sanctuary in the wilderness for one to two people. From this fully self contained space you can explore the Mt Aspiring National park, Blue Pools, Isthmus Peak, Haast, Wanaka and Hawea. Settle in by the fire on the most comfortable couch and enjoy the view, the serenity and beauty of this place. Soak in the outdoor bath to star gaze on clear nights. Lake Tekapo - with its hot springs and other tourist attractions - is just a half hour drive away. Escape your stresses and soak in the farm and mountain views from the deck.

The kitchenette has gas hobs with small fridge, kettle, toaster, and all basic utensils. Milk, tea and coffee are included. There’s wifi and a TV with Chromecast.
