Guests will be left with their privacy and do not need to interact with the host. The host can be contacted any time by phone with any concerns or issues, or for any help you require during your stay. Circumnavigate Lake Wendouree, a scenic 6 kilometres, and within walking distance of the house. Joined to our house at the rear, this cute, historic miner’s cottage is self-contained with its own private entrance. Inside, you will discover art by local artists in every room. The cosy bedroom has a queen sized bed. The living area has a comfy sofa and smart tv. There is a modern shower room and kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine for breakfasts. Only a few minutes walk from Sturt street and its cafes and restaurants and close to the hospitals.

The Cottage @ Hedges

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.
