Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

Dees Villa - self contained cottage . Pet friendly

This purpose-built Greek-inspired villa with sunset views as far as Kangaroo Island provides the perfect get-away retreat. One hour south of Adelaide, enroute to Kangaroo Island and close to McLaren Vale and lots of fantastic wineries. Situated in a secluded rural setting on a 80 acre horse stud. Set on a small acreage working cattle farm in close proximity to the main home yet completely separate and private. The rural setting provides a peaceful environment in which to enjoy native wildlife and watch the sunrise and set. Located on the scenic route offering a beautiful 7-minute drive to Port Elliot with iconic Horseshoe Bay, delightful shops and cafes.

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.
