Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on lake Champlain right off interstate I89 on the Canadian border in a private estate with 6 beach accesses throughout, also a boat ramp for fisherman!! ICE fishing as well, (ask me about an ice fishing shanty rental) Very nice quiet neighborhood, watch the beautiful sunsets at the waterfront next to a nice cozy camp fire on the beach or on the deck grilling food and playing corn-hole, great WIFI connection. Built in 2024 and designed to complement the 1930s bungalow aesthetic of the main house, this cottage sits directly across from Ethan Allen Park with North Avenue beaches a short bike ride or drive away. Sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pullout sofa in the living room. Skylights and lofty ceilings fill the space with natural light throughout. Well insulated with centrally ducted heat and A/C for year-round comfort.

Cozy Cottage in the Mad River Valley

My dad and I built this home from 2015-2019 working mostly on the weekends. We did everything we could ourselves including all the framing, siding, and fine woodworking. It has abundant natural and artificial light and a beautiful deck/porch. We made sure to build a lot of storage space with built in closets, cabinets, and drawers. I am very proud of what we accomplished and I'm so excited to be able to share our creation with guests.
