This newly refurbished house has two large bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room for extra sleeping space. There is a fully equipped dining kitchen. It has an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs walk in shower room. There is a large decked area to the rear where you can relax. The Swan Inn pub is a 2 minute walk away and is open Friday-Monday and serves lovely food and there is also a local shop which also provides food. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling can be easily accessed by car or train.

Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
