The Mahaffey Vintage Farm House

Early 1900s vintage farmhouse with cozy rooms, antiques, and a large farmyard! 8 miles from I-20, 15 mi. to Bossier City & about 20 min. to downtown Shreveport. Experience a working farm with healthy pasture-raised cattle, pigs, chickens, and no chemicals/pesticides. A farm country breakfast is available for purchase. Bacon or sausage and eggs from our farm is served with grits, muffins, fruit, coffee/tea, juice. Please let Sandra know if you want breakfast at the time of your reservation.

The Hideaway- Duff Green Mansion

The Cave is located outside of the main house at The Duff Green Mansion under the driveway off the courtyard. The king bed can be broken into twins with adequate notice and the pull out sofa can accommodate two more guests. The bathroom offers a stand up shower but no tub. While not in the main house and furnished in contemporary pieces, The Cave offers excellent accommodations for those traveling with children, pets or long term. Breakfast for two is included.

Executive King Pool View (upstairs /private bath)

Beautiful King room with a large fourposter bed overlooking our crystal clear pool. Room has WiFi, HD TV, expanded cable w/ the premium channels, on suite full bathroom, oversized desk and fridge / microwave. All rooms are located on the second floor and or accessible via the staircase. Extended stay rates does not include breakfast but you can add it for $18 per day per person.

Duff Green Suite - The Duff Green Mansion

Step back in time in the Duff Green Suite. Feel like a true prince & princess when you sleep in this half tester antique bed originally from New Orleans. Period furniture complete the bedroom and sitting area. The large bathroom includes a claw footed soaking tub and a separate shower. An attached nursery room includes 4 additional beds. This is a great room for a family!

Steele Cottage is located at 1201 Adams Street and within the block of world famous Walnut Hills Restaurant. Cozy queen bed in historic 1830’s home. This room utilizes the hall bathroom (private) with a claw-footed soaking tub that has a handheld shower. Easy entrance from street parking in front of the cottage. Guests have use of shared living room.
