There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

The Lake House

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. A Little Slice of Heaven Is a place of healing, home cooked style or fine dining, with complimentary 1st morning English breakfast ingredients provided. Experience hot springs, waterfalls and national parks within 5-30 min drive. With lower humidity, and at 2800ft above sea level we are approx. 6 degrees cooler than the coast. Come and enjoy your stay at our peaceful two-bedroom garden cottage. The location is central 1km to the CBD, cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets. Centenary Park and bus stop are within walking distance. . We have renovated and decorated this genuine old town cottage so you can lay back and relax. Our two rooms are fully airconditioned and share a bathroom. The big wooden windows allow a glimpse into the colorful garden.

Escape to the Forest

Our self-contained one-bedroom villa, offers guests a relaxing and luxurious home away from home. Located on a large acreage property, there are established walking tracks meandering through the forest, that lead to ancient waterholes. The modern facilities, cool waterways, and peaceful surroundings promote rest, joy and recovery. Guests can check-in at 2:00pm and check-out by 11:00am. Unlimited wi-fi available on site.
